Iron Maiden–Mother Russia

Mother Russia é uma música do álbum “No prayer for the dying”  , que foi lançado em Outubro de 1990. O autor da composição é o baixista Steve Harris.

Um pouco de história : Mother Russia(mãe Rússia) é uma personificação nacional da Rússia , aparecendo em cartazes patrióticos, estátuas, etc . No período da União Soviética o termo “pátria-mãe” era preferido ao invés de “mãe-Rússia”,  como representante da multi-étnica União Soviética.
